Expansion of Scientific Collaboration: Russian Consul Meeting with Isfahan University President

In a recent meeting, Andrei Zhiltsov, the Russian Consul General in Isfahan, expressed a strong commitment to enhancing scientific cooperation between Russia and Iran during his conversation with Dr. Rasool Rokni-Zadeh, President of the University of Isfahan.

One of the key outcomes was the decision to establish the "Russkiy Mir" Center at the University of Isfahan, funded by the Russian government. This center aims to strengthen the Russian language and literature programs while fostering cultural and educational exchanges—paving the way for mutual benefits in scientific and academic fields.

Dr. Rokni-Zadeh emphasized the university's policy of boosting international interactions, particularly with neighboring countries like Russia. He advocated for innovative avenues of investment in emerging research areas and proposed collaborative labs to facilitate joint ventures.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Mohammad Amiryousefi, President Consultant in International Affairs and Director of International Scientific Cooperation Office at the University of Isfahan, who emphasized on the necessity of enhancing communication channels and collaborations between universities in Iran and Russia, setting the stage for a fruitful academic relationship. He added the University of Isfahan is fully prepared to advance these partnerships, marking a significant step towards enriching the academic landscape for both nations.
